Pint of Science is a scientific association with the goal of making complex science accessible to everyone. The concept is simple: in a relaxed and casual bar setting, two scientific experts share their knowledge and explain their work to a general audience, highlighting the significance of their research for the world.

Evolutionary biologists seek to understand the historical processes that have generated the breathtaking diversity of life on the planet today. But how can scientists study the distant past—millions or even billions of years ago—without a time machine?
