It's an evening for the management of the Studio - and of it's guiding Studio Community Committee - to listen to what and where we should be going. It's an opportunity to get involved in the future direction.
For sure, you'll meet friends and colleagues, network with producers and bookers and perhaps chat with new talent for your next show. You might bump into a US pool champion, or find a new D&D partner. Occasionally there may be an invited guest speaker, who may or may not be famous. Probably not. They might be interesting though. You'll have to see.

HERE’S THE GIST
While everyone can come watch "It's A Date", contestants can apply through a separate form and go through two rounds of interviews prior to being on stage.
The IAD crew - all professional comedians - will offer hilarious comments and help the singles (and the audience) break the ice throughout the show.
The audience will be encouraged to chime in at any time they want- whether to voice an opinion, share a story, ask a question or even decide the outcome of the evening. As we like to say, it’s controlled chaos and no two shows are ever the same!
Halloween Specific:
Costumes are strongly encouraged. 6 people with the best costumes will be chosen to win a unique prizes!

Co-host Jackson Watts is a rising comic in the Boston area. Using a mixture of fast paced, irreverent one liners and an absurd character presence, Jackson creates a performance to remember. In his free time, Jackson is a student at BU and a beekeeper.
Expect the unexpected from a great lineup of outrageous new comedy stars with rock n roll attitude.

Monday’s Pages is a weekly cold-reading series where actors and writers get together to present 10 page submissions of new, dialogue-driven material. Our primary purpose is to build community and encouragement through a non-judgemental, professional environment.
Our nights consist of 5 writers and as many actors as we need to fill the parts. Within that 75 minutes, we never critique, correct or charge anything. We are simply there to hold the space for great work and collaboration.
